Due to falling popularity, Capt Amarinder afraid of holding elections in Punjab
Intention is to impose President’s rule by attacking farmers and rioting
Chandigarh, September 12 2021
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab has strongly condemned the action of the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party workers in the state to spoil the atmosphere by fighting among themselves; stating that the Congress and the Akali Dal were trying to destabilize the atmosphere of communal harmony in Punjab at the behest of the Narendra Modi-led central government.
In a statement issued from the party headquarters here on Sunday, AAP senior leader and MLA Aman Arora said that both the Congress and the Akali Dal have been rejected by the people of the state and have been barred from entering the village and cities. “Seeing the opposition of the people, both these parties want to create fear and terror among the people at the time of elections by imposing President’s rule in Punjab at the behest of Narendra Modi,” he said. Arora said both the parties were working on the behest of the Modi government; so that President’s rule can be imposed by spoiling the atmosphere of Punjab.
Condemning the atrocities on the farmers in Moga, Aman Arora said the attack on the peaceful protesting farmers by the goons of the Akali Dal’s constituent Student Organisation of India (SOI) was a well-planned conspiracy of Sukhbir Badal, which makes it clear that the Shiromani Akali Dal wants to disturb the peace and harmony of Punjab and get imposition of President’s rule in the state through Narendra Modi. He said the clash between the BJP and the Congress workers in Ludhiana was also a part of this episode.
The AAP leader further said the reality is that Captain Amarinder Singh and Sukhbir Badal are working as a ‘B team’ of Narendra Modi, and are eager to spoil the atmosphere in Punjab at the behest of the latter. Arora said the Akali Dal has parted ways with the BJP to gain sympathy of the people of Punjab, especially the farmers which is only a deceit. He said there is no doubt that the Akali Dal Badal and the BJP will once again unite after the assembly elections in Punjab. Arora said the SAD-BJP should not try to fool the people of Punjab as it has become clear from the anger of the people that this time the circumstances are against them.
