KARGIL, DECEMBER 24, 2021 : Chairman and Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Kargil, Feroz Ahmed Khan in presence of Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve today flagged off Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance and distributed oxygen concentrators at Council Secretariat.
Executive Councilor for Social Welfare Aga Syed Arman, Executive Councilor Tourism Er Phunsok Tashi, Councillors from Sankoo, Baroo Minji and Poyen Constituencies, Aga Syed Ahmed, Sheikh Ghulam Mehdi, Haji Muhammad Amin, Chief Medical Officer Kargil Dr Munawar Hussain Wazir besides other concerned officers were present on the occasion.
The concerned officer apprised the CEC that the ALS ambulance has been purchased under CAPEX budget at a cost of Rs 50 lakhs which will be handed over to CHC Sankoo.
On the occasion, CEC Khan also distributed 06 oxygen concentrators having capacity of 5-LPM and 10 oxygen concentrators having capacity of 10-LPM.
The oxygen concentrators were provided by Councilor Baroo Minji and Councilor Poyen Sheikh Ghulam Mehdi and Haji Muhammad Amin purchased under respective Constituency Development Funds (CDFs) at a cost of Rs 50000 and Rs 98000 respectively.
It was informed that in Baroo Minji Constituency, 02 oxygen concentrators will be provided to Sub Center Baroo, 02 for Sub Center Minji and 02 for Goma Minji.
Similarly, in Poyen Constituency, 02 oxygen concentrators will be handed over to Handurman Brok, 03 for Sub Center Shilikchey, 03 for Sub Center Poyen and 02 for New Type Primary Health Centre (NTPHC) Akchamal.
