Directs for completion of work within stipulated timeline
KARGIL, JULY 05, 2021: Chairman and Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan laid the foundation stone of the additional block of Kargil House at Bemina Srinagar today.
The additional block is being constructed under SDP at a cost of Rs 7.87 crores and has been targeted for completion within one year’s time.
Executive Councilor for Social Welfare Aga Syed Hassan Arman Mosavi, Executive Councilor for Works Aga Syed Abbas Razvi, officers and engineers of PWD department besides other concerned officials were present on the occasion.
CEC Feroz Ahmad Khan directed the concerned officers to complete the construction of the building within the stipulated timeline to serve the requirements of visitors coming across from Kargil to Srinagar. He also stressed the engineers concerned to ensure strict adherence to quality and quantity parameters during the execution of the project.
Pertinently, the building has a capacity to accommodate 60 guests and is formed on the architectural pattern of G+3 floors with a kitchen, community hall, and 16 bedrooms with double bedroom and attached bathrooms, 3 VIP suites and 1 conference hall.
The CEC was informed that the piling work of the building has already been completed while rest of the work will also be completed within the set timelines.
