CEC Kargil releases information brochure of University of Ladakh
KARGIL MARCH 22, 2021: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmed Khan released the information brochure of the University of Ladakh (UoL) at the Council Secretariat Kargil here today.
Registrar University of Ladakh Imteeaz Kacho, Rector Kargil Campus University of Ladakh Kaneez Fatima, Dean Students Welfare, University of Ladakh Dr Amjad Ali Abbasi and Assistant Registrar University of Ladakh Syed Ali Shah were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Feroz Khan said that the brochure would prove beneficial for students to get complete information about the courses and facilities provided by the University of Ladakh.
Khan lauded the role of the UoL for starting 6 new courses from the current academic session onwards and hoped that the University will further accelerate its continued endeavors in dissemination of accessible, affordable and quality education at the doorsteps of the students of Ladakh. He also hoped that the University would start new courses keeping in view the increasing demand for quality higher education.
Imteeaz Kacho on the occasion said that fresh students who will get admitted this year to pursue different courses will find this brochure beneficial. 6 new courses have been included this year thereby taking the total number of courses offered by the UoL to 16, he added.
CEC Feroz Khan wished the UoL all the best in all its endeavors and reiterated that LAHDC Kargil will extend all out support and cooperation required by the University in the smooth implementation of its mandate in Kargil district.
