Rs1.40 crore to be spent on augmentation of healthcare system
KUPWARA, MAY 17, 2021: Chairman, District Development Council (DDC), Kupwara, Irfan Sultan Panditpuri today convened a meeting of DDC members to review the utilization of funds of the Council in mitigation of Covid crisis in the district.
Deputy Chairman, DDC, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir was also present in the meeting.
On the occasion, all the council members unanimously agreed to extend maximum possible support to augment the Covid healthcare infrastructure of the district and help to save the precious human lives.
It was given out in the meeting that the Council will spend Rs.1.40 crore out of its grants for acquisition of bulk oxygen cylinders, vans, oximeters, masks and other covid related equipment to augment Covid healthcare in far flung PHCs of the district which will minimize overall load on major hospitals.
