Under the directive of Deputy Commissioner pertaining to ABP’s Sampoornata Abhiyan, Chief Agriculture Officer Kargil on Saturday visited Aspirational Block Karsha, Abran Panchayat.
The event took place at Community Hall of Abran village, marking a significant step towards agricultural development and empowerment in the region.
The program commenced with an informative session on ABP and its agricultural indicators, aiming to enhance the villagers’ understanding of the project’s scope and benefits.
This was followed by the saturation of PM-KISAN beneficiaries within Abran village, ensuring that the scheme’s advantages reached every eligible farmer.
Additionally, a concise training session was conducted to equip the villagers with necessary skills and knowledge for optimized agricultural practices.
Block Development Officer Zanskar; Sub-divisional Agriculture Officer Zanskar; ABP fellow and representatives from Agriculture and RD&PRD were present. Their presence underscored collaborative effort and commitment towards the region’s agrarian progress.
The program concluded with the chair addressing the community’s concerns, documenting the needs of the villagers, and providing clarity on various queries. This initiative reflects the administration’s dedication to fostering a well-informed and self-reliant farming community in the region, thus the saturation of KPI’s of ABP.
