The Chief Minister gave instructions for financial assistance to the families of the deceased and proper treatment of the injured

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has expressed deep grief over the bus accident in Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has prayed to God to give peace to the departed souls and strength to the family to bear this grief. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. The injured are undergoing treatment in hospitals in Rameshwaram and Madurai.
As soon as the news of the bus accident was received, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed the Ujjain Collector and the police administration to provide financial assistance to the families of those killed in the accident and to make arrangements for proper treatment of the injured. On the instructions of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Deputy Collector and CSP have been sent from Ujjain to Madurai.
There were 21 passengers from Madhya Pradesh in the bus. One woman each from Ujjain and Dhar districts of Madhya Pradesh has died in the accident. 19 passengers are injured.
