Chandigarh June 15: Haryana Cabinet which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal gave Ex-post facto for extension of One Time Settlement Policy ‘Samadhan Se Vikas’ till September 30, 2021, and for extension of the benefit of the policy to CLU permissions.
The ‘One time settlement policy’ was issued on August 10, 2020, for a period of six months to enable recovery of long-time outstanding EDC dues in license cases. The same was extended from time to time because of pandemic of COVID-19. Till date around Rs. 551 Crore has been recovered from colonizers under this policy.
Further, the announcement made by the Chief Minister, who also holds the portfolio of Finance Minister, in his budget speech during the Vidhan Sabha session held from February 20, 2020 to March 4, 2020, was general in nature for EDC over dues. Hence, the said extension of the policy has been made applicable in case of change of land use permissions also.
