CM Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan Planted Saptaparni and Moulshree Saplings

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today planted Saptparni and Moulshree saplings in Smart Garden. Three-time Limca Book Record Holder matchbox man Shri Sunil Bhatt, who gave the message of environmental protection and cleanliness through match boxes, also planted saplings on the occasion.

Shri Sunil Bhatt of Aga Club, along with Shri Vimal Sahu and Shri Manoj Buddhi Raja, was also present on the occasion. Shri Sunil Bhatt has a collection of more than 250 types of matchboxes including those on the subject of cleanliness and environment. He has organised 105 exhibitions so far to create awareness about cleanliness and environment through the exhibition of these match boxes. Shri Bhatt working as Sub Additional Engineer in BHEL is popularly known as ‘Mach Box Man’. His work has also been appreciated in the TV programme “Kaun Banega Crorepati” in the year 2018.

Aga Club is conducting plastic and polythene free campaign including plantation as well as cleanliness in BHEL area. Aga club is active in the field of sports, health, safety and de-addiction apart from conducting activities for senior citizens. Moulshree is also called Kesav in Sanskrit, Molsari or Bakool in Hindi. It is a tree of medicinal importance, which has been used in Ayurveda for centuries. Saptaparni plant is an evergreen medicinal tree, which has great importance in Ayurveda. This plant is used in the manufacture of various medicines.
