Chief Secretary chairs the meeting of Committee of Secretaries regarding Land Purchase through e-bhoomi Portal

Recommends to send three projects to High Power Land Purchase Committee

For the implementation of the projects Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal directed the Deputy Commissioners to complete the forthcoming process by holding meetings with the land owners

Chandigarh, May 16 –  Haryana Chief Secretary, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal held a meeting of the Committee of Secretaries for purchase of land for various projects here today, in which 3 projects were recommended to be sent to the High Powered Land Purchase Committee. Discussions were held regarding the purchase of land for a total of 10 projects in the meeting.

         The Chief Secretary directed the concerned District Deputy Commissioners connected through video conference that before the upcoming meeting for other projects, talks should be held with the land owners regarding purchase of land with their consent.

         It was informed in the meeting that the land owners have given their consent for the required land on the e-bhoomi portal for the construction of the four lane road connecting NH-44 to NH-334/B in Hisar district, Majra Dubaldhan to Jatela Dham Road in Jhajjar district and the road connecting NH-44 to NH-334/B in Sonipat district. The land purchase process will be finalized soon. Reacting on this, the Chief Secretary recommended sending the High Powered Land Purchase Committee for getting the final approval on these projects.

         Also, the concerned District Deputy Commissioners informed about the situation pertaining to the development of two lane ROB into a four lane one, on Ballabhgarh Pali Dhuj Sohna Road in district Faridabad, also development of a four lane Gohana bypass in district Sonipat, construction of new road connecting Teodi village to Bajana Kalan village and construction of a two-lane ROB on Ladwa Saraswati Nagar Road in Yamunagar. In addition, the expansion of Indian Oil Corporation Limited Panipat Refinery and Township was also discussed.

         The Chief Secretary directed the concerned District Deputy Commissioners to complete the upcoming process by holding meetings with the land owners for the speedy implementation of the above projects.

         In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary and Finance Commissioner, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Sh. P.K. Das, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department, Sh. T.V.S. N. Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary, Public Works (Building and Roads) Department, Sh. Anurag Rastogi, Additional Chief Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department, Sh. A.K. Singh and Director of Consolidation and Land Records, Smt. Aamna Tasneem and other senior officers were present. Besides this, the District Deputy Commissioners of Faridabad, Jhajjar, Nuh, Sonipat, Hisar, Yamunanagar and Karnal joined the meeting through video conference.
