Citizens must hoist the tricolor at every house from 13 to 15 August, to pay tribute to the martyrs – Devender Singh Babli

Cabinet Minister hoisted 65 feet high National Flag in Tohana

Chandigarh, August 11:- Haryana Development and Panchayats Minister, Sh. Devender Singh Babli, paid tribute to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the country’s independence. He called upon everyone to hoist tricolour at every house from 13 to 15 August in order to mark the 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Development and Panchayats Minister, Sh. Devender Singh Babli hoisted the 65 feet high national flag at the local Shaheed Madan Lal Dhingra Town Park in Tohana on Thursday and called upon the people to join this campaign in large numbers to pay homage to the martyrs of the country. On this occasion, while giving the message of environmental protection, the cabinet minister also planted saplings.

The Minister for Development and Panchayats said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi and Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal have called upon the citizens of the entire country to hoist the tricolor at every home to pay tribute to the martyrs on the 75th anniversary of the country’s independence.

He said that we should bow to those mothers who gave birth to such martyrs and warriors who laid down their lives for the freedom of the country. He said that the tricolor is the pride of our country. He added that this occasion will impart a strong message for the coming generations regarding the great sacrifice of our freedom fighters. He further added that the youth should draw inspiration from their ideals and contribute to the country’s progress.
