Releases book “Bhopal from Vedic period to merger”

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav offered floral tributes at the statue of Bhai Uddhav Das Mehta at ITC Kamala Park on latter’s death anniversary and also released a book on Bhopal from Vedic period to merger, published by Bhai Uddhav Das Mehta Memorial Trust.
Referring to the contribution of Bhai Uddhavdas Mehta in development of Bhopal and making it the capital, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that he was active in Hindu Mahasabha, Jan Sangh and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He led the Quit India Movement in this region in 1942. He went to Banaras to study religious scriptures . We are proud of his contribution in preserving the values of Sanatan culture and his active participation in Hindu Utsav Committee during difficult times . Bhai Uddhavdas Mehta inspired the society.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that India is changing fast under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He said that the cultural revival is going on in the country. we are committed to save the heritage of the glorious past of Emperor Vikramaditya, Raja Bhoj . Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Shri Ramesh Sharma, author of the book “From Vedic Period to Merger in Bhopal”, has presented and analyzed the facts in its entirety.
Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare (Independent Charge) Smt. Krishna Gaur, Minister of State for Public Health and Family Welfare Shri Narendra Shivaji Patel, MP Sadhvi Pragya Thakur, MLA Shri Bhagwan Das Sabnani, Mayor Smt. Malti Rai, former Minister Shri umaashankar Gupta were present. Gupta, former Rajya Sabha member Shri Raghunandan Sharma and Shri Rahul Kothari and l peoples representatives were present.
