CM informed the media after the tour of flood hit areas

CM Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that life has been affected due to the great calamity of floods in Gwalior-Chambal division. The task force of 12 departmental ministers constituted by the state government to assist the victims has reached the affected areas and handling the relief and rehabilitation front. The administration is also involved in relief works with full force. Relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction work is in progress. The work of distribution of relief among the affected is going on at a fast pace. Immediate arrangements of ration and food grains have been made. Accommodation is also being provided immediately. The assessment of crop damage is being done. A detailed assessment of the damage is yet to be done. The distribution of one lakh 20 thousand rupees has been started for each house destroyed in the floods. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan gave this information in a discussion with media representatives at Smart Garden.
