CM performed bhumi pujan of construction works worth Rs 264 crores to improve school education

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will online dedicate and perform bhumi-pujan of construction works worth 264 crores on the occasion of completion of 20 years of Jan Kalyan and Suraj to improve school education in the state. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will dedicate and perform bhumi-pujan of 45 newly constructed buildings of School Education Department and 71 newly constructed buildings of Tribal Affairs Department at Minto Hall, Bhopal on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 6.30 PM. Tribal Affairs and Scheduled Castes Welfare Minister Sushri Meena Singh, Public Works and Cottage and Village Industries Minister Gopal Bhargava and Minister of State for School Education (Independent Charge) and General Administration Shri Inder Singh Parmar will also be present on the occasion. The programme will be broadcast live on CM Webcast, CM Madhya Pradesh, Public Relations and School Education Department’s Facebook and Twitter pages along with DD MP and other regional channels.
In the programme, along with the dedication of newly constructed high school buildings, higher secondary school buildings, hostels and multi-purpose buildings of the School Education Department constructed at a cost of about Rs. 51 crores 40 lakhs, bhumi pujan of 71 school buildings of Tribal Affairs Department to be built at a cost of Rs 213 crores 80 lakhs will be done. School students will be benefitted by the construction of these buildings. The Tribal Affairs Department will construct schools and hostels in Alirajpur, Umaria, Khargone, Jhabua, Dhar, Barwani, Mandla, Ratlam, Shahdol, Seoni and Hoshangabad districts.
