CM Shri Chouhan briefed on preparations received in the meeting

Chief MinisterShri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, briefed the Department of Culture on the preparations being made for the Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day celebrations. In a meeting held in Mantralayatoday, Chief Minister, Shri Chouhan, directed that the State’s Foundation Day celebrations should be held at Lal Parade Ground with 50 percent attendance under Covid Protocol. The theme of the programmes should be centredon Madhya Pradesh and on the contribution of citizens in the making of Atmanirbha Madhya Pradesh. The events should be grand and entertaining, should give a message and everyone should feel a sense of affiliation with the programmes. For this purpose, a three-day programme should be outlined.
Chief Minister, Shri Chouhan also directed drama performances on girl child education, industrialization and other subjects. Shri Chouhan said that exhibitions should not only be held in Bhopal but should also be extended to the districts. Citizens should feel proud on foundation day programmes.
Chief MinisterShri Chouhan said that participation of other departments should also be ensured in the Foundation Day programmes. He also directed that people who have done outstanding work in various fields, including those who have made significant contribution in vaccinations and other woks of service during the Corona period, should also be honoured. The event can also be linked to the Foundation Day celebrations.
