CM Shri Chouhan issues instructions for formation of Staff Commission

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that there is a need to change the mentality of officers and employees to procrastinate and keep files pending. It is necessary to develop the attitude of skill upgradation and self-learning along with moral upgradation in employees. For this, inspirational activities will be conducted along with training of officers and employees along with the Alpaviram programme of the Anand Mantralaya. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing the review meeting of General Administration Department in Mantralaya.

Minister of State for General Administration Shri Inder Singh Parmar, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary General Administration Shri Vinod Kumar, Principal Secretary General Administration Smt. Deepti Gaur Mukherjee and other officers were present.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that it is necessary to ensure effective system of inspection to increase the efficiency of Mantralaya. Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Secretary level officers including the Minister must inspect their subordinate offices. Along with this, senior state level officers should also visit the districts and development blocks. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that state level monitoring should be ensured of the visits being made by the officers posted in the districts. It is necessary to ensure that the records of the tours being made by the district level officers are received by the General Administration Department within the stipulated time frame and they are supervised online. Implementation of digital form of tour diary should be ensured.
