CM Shri Chouhan paid homage to Shri Balasaheb Deoras

CM Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid obeisance to Shri Balasaheb Deoras on his death anniversary. CM Shri Chouhan garlanded the picture of Shri Balasaheb Deoras at his residence. Shri Balasaheb Deoras was the 3rd Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Shri Deoras was born on December 11th 1915 in Nagpur. His family permanently belonged to Karanja, a village close to Aam village in Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh. His entire education took place in Nagpur itself. He assumed the responsibility of Sarsanghchalak on June 6, 1973 after the death of Shri Guru ji. Sangh work got a new direction during his tenure. He laid stress on service work. As a result, thousands of service works started in the forest dwelling areas of the country including North Purvanchal. He passed away on June 17th 1996 in Nagpur.
