CM Shri Chouhan planted a coconut sapling

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted a coconut sapling in the residence premises today. Coconut is considered auspicious and benedictory in Indian culture. Therefore it is used in worship-rituals and auspicious works. Coconut is considered a symbol of good luck and prosperity. Coconut is called ‘Shriphal’ in Sanskrit and Shri means Lakshmi. Coconut tree is also called ‘Kalpavriksha’ in Sanskrit. Coconut water contains a good amount of electrolytes, which makes one feel fresh when tired or weak. One coconut contains about 600 mg of potassium.
