Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted a coconut sapling in the residence premises today. Coconut is a perennial and a monocot plant. Coconut is considered auspicious and providential in Indian culture. Therefore it is used in worship rituals and auspicious works. It is also very useful for health. Coconut water contains a good amount of electrolytes, which removes fatigue and weakness and gives freshness. Coconut is rich in potassium.
