CM Shri Chouhan planted Karanj and Gular saplings

CM Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted saplings of Karanj and Gular along with the members of Sakaratmak Soch Sansthan in the Smart City Garden today. Smt. Anita Sharma, Smt. Kiran Sharma, Smt. Arundhati Sharma and Smt. Rekha Sharma were present. The representative of Sakaratmak Soch Sansthan apprised Chief Minister Shri Chouhan about the works being done by the organisation. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that such social institutions are the strength of the society. The works of public welfare, environmental improvement and development get momentum through the activeness of such social institutions. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan is continuously encouraging community participation in plantation. The Sakaratmak Soch Sansthan, Govindpura is active in taking care of plantations by planting saplings in Kalpana Nagar and Sonagiri areas of Zone-5. Besides, this organisation is also involved in social activities like Utensil Bank, Bag Bank and environment and cleanliness work. The first Utensil Bank has been established by the organisation in Bhopal. This organisation provides free utensils on weddings, birthdays and other events. Various activities are being conducted by the organisation with the aim of reducing the use of plastic, in which work is also being done towards bringing awareness among children for cleanliness and environmental protection. The organisation also arranges nutritious food and education for the poor children.
