CM Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan made Mandana along with his wife Smt. Sadhna Singh at the threshold of his residence this morning on the auspicious occasion of Deepawali. In Indian culture, there has been a tradition of making Mandana for decoration on festivals and celebrations. Mandana is considered a symbol of happiness, prosperity, health and well being. Mandana is a symbol of auspiciousness and good fortune.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has appealed to the people of the state that to maintain this beautiful tradition of Indian culture, all the families should make Mandana in their homes and courtyards. This will keep our traditions alive and also encourage the art of Mandana. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also extended Diwali greetings to all the people of the state.
