CM Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan Planted Moulshree and Almond Saplings in Smart Garden
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted Almond and Moulshree saplings in the Smart City Garden today. Agriculture Minister Shri Kamal Patel and deaf and dumb children of Umang Gaurav Deep Welfare Society also participated in plantation. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan received information about the activities of the organisation. The office bearers of the organisation Sushri Deepti Patwa, Shri Ravi Lalwani, Sushri Sakshi Dev and Sushri Lavanya Singh presented Umang souvenir to the Chief Minister Shri Chouhan.
Almond is a dry fruit. Technically, it is the seed of the fruit of the almond tree. The almond tree bears pink and white fragrant flowers. It flourishes more in mountainous areas. Almonds are rich in fiber and help in digestion. Almonds are useful in the treatment of high blood pressure, constipation and heart diseases. It is rich in potassium, magnesium, calcium and vitamin E.
Moulshree is also called Kesava in Sanskrit, Molsari or Bakool in Hindi. It is a tree of medicinal importance, which has been used in Ayurveda for centuries.
