OSD to the Chief Minister, Sh. Bhupeshwar Dayal, who oversees the CM Window and Twitter handle system from Chandigarh, said that the video of a constable who was intoxicated during the ongoing International Gita Mahotsav in Kurukshetra had gone viral, he was suspended and departmental action is being taken against him.
He said that in another case, the driver Deepak was suspended for alleged drunk driving by the police personnel after running over the devotees who had come to the temple of Narnaul on the occasion of Sharad Purnima and departmental inquiry has been initiated.
