Chandigarh, July 31 2021 Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has expressed grief over the sad demise of 105-year-old Athlete Bebe Mann Kaur. She had been ill for the past several days.
Expressing his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family in a message issued today, the Chief Minister prayed to God to give strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that the demise of Bebe Mann Kaur is sad news for the sports world. Bebe Mann Kaur’s golden contribution will always be written in golden words in history and she will always remain a role model for the youth as well as the people of her age.
Nari Shakti Puraskar Awardee Bebe Mann Kaur was an international sprinter and had created many records by winning gold medals in her age group in world level competitions.
