Chandigarh, June 10 – The Khelo India Youth Games – 2021, which is being held at Panchkula, Haryana from June 4, has become the best platform of entertainment. Everyday in the evening Champion Night is being organized, wherein a special Punjabi Pop Night was organized on Friday. During this, famous Punjabi singer Ashok Sachdeva, popularly known as Ashok Masti made the audience tap on his numbers.
On this occasion, Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Sh. Gian Chand Gupta, attended the event as chief guest. He was accompanied by Secretary Finance, Sofia Dahiya and Additional Director (Administration) of Sports Department Sh. Vivek Padam Singh and other dignitaries.
Punjabi Pop Night started with Haryanvi Folk
The students of Government Senior Secondary School, Sector-6, Panchkula started the evening programme with Haryanvi Folk Dance followed by a gidda performance by the students of Sarthak School, Sector-12, Panchkula. During this, RJ Manav praised the audience present in the programme.
Punjabi singer Ashok Masti was the surprise element of today
The surprise element of today’s Punjabi Pop Night was renowned Punjabi singer Ashok Sachdeva. As soon as singer Ashok Masti gave a special performance with his group on stage, everyone in the hall packed with audience started dancing.
Enjoy games and entertainment at one place
Sofia Dahiya, Secretary Finance, who is heading the Sports Expo, informed that the Haryana Government has organized this Champions Night to provide a medium of sports and entertainment to the players and spectators at one place. Programmes based on different arts and culture are being organized every night. In this episode, Punjabi Pop Nite was organized on Friday.
