Data of members of cooperative societies to be made available online
Chandigarh, March 19: In Haryana, data of members of cooperative group housing societies and cooperative house building societies will now be made available online.
Additional Chief Secretary, Cooperation Department, Sanjeev Kaushal has issued orders to the concerned officers.
As per the orders issued, the data of the names, ownership documents, photographs, conveyance deeds etc. of the members of all these societies will be made available online. This will have to be done by member of the committees itself. He will forward his data to the management committee of by uploading it online which will send that data to the Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies and then this data will be displayed on the portal of the Assistant Registrar. The Assistant Registrar, Co-operative Societies will get this data verified by the inspector of his office and will freeze the data once found to be correct. The completion of this process will reduce the chances of fraud in the purchase and sale of flat and apartments in group housing societies and cooperative house building societies and this will bring transparency in the functioning of the societies.
Appeal has been made to the members of all such cooperative group housing and house building societies, who have not yet sent their data online, they should complete this process soon. If a member is facing any problem or in uploading his data online from his committee, then that member can contact the concerned Inspector Cooperative Societies of his area or the office of Assistant Registrar.
