APPRECIATES NGO GREEN PUNJAB ORGANIZATION FOR ORGANIZING EVENT

Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma on Saturday celebrated the Children’s day with the kids of Red Cross Bal Bhawan of the district.Sharma visited the school and greeted the kids on Children’s Day besides distributed gifts among them.The Deputy Commissioner told the kids about Children’s Day is celebrated each year across India on November 14, the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru, who was fondly called Chacha Nehru.

Sharma said that we all must take care of our children and called them the future of the country. He asked the people to ensure each child in their society get access to the education as education is the key to the development of any country. He said that quality education helps in shaping the destiny of the children in the right direction. Sharma said that the quality education would not only open new vistas of career for them but would also ensure their bright future.
He said due to Covid-19, the physical classes of the students were remained suspended for nearly two years but now with the situation turning normal, they are able to study in the classes which will boost knowledge sharing among peers.On the occasion, Red Cross Secretary Balbir Chand, Khushboo Bansal, Sudiksha Dhall, Samishiti Bansal, Vivek Dhall, Puneet Bansal, Poonam Bansal, Karamjit Kaur and others were present.
