Special camps to be organised in villages to get the proforma filled by beneficiaries

Following the announcement made by the Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi to waive the outstanding bill of electricity connections of up to 2 KW of the domestic power consumers of Punjab, the district SAS Nagar administration has initiated process to provide relief to the people.

Disclosing this here today Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Isha Kalia said that while issuing this proforma to the SDMs of the three sub divisions of District SAS Nagar, it has been directed to make the proforma accessible to the people and the process of filling up the proforma from the needy beneficiaries should be started as soon as possible by setting up special camps so that the process of waiving the outstanding electricity bills of the needy beneficiaries could be expedited.
Deputy Commissioner said that SDMs would be responsible for setting up these camps in the villages at their level. Apart from this special camps would also be organized in the offices of PSPCL sub divisions.
She said that in all the sub divisions of PSPCL special camps would be organized on every working day from 9 am to 5 pm.
