Takes first hand appraisal of the implementation of COVID SOPs
KISHTWAR, MAY 13, 2021: To take stock of the implementation of Corona Curfew and COVID-19 SOPs in the market places on the eve of Eid-ul-fitr, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma along-with the Senior Superintendent of Police Kishtwar Shafqat Hussain Bhatt, today conducted surprise inspection at various places of Kishtwar town.
They were accompanied by ASP Kishtwar Mushim Ahmed Choudhary, Dy SP Headquarters Davinder Singh besides other concerned officers.
During the inspection, DC urged the shopkeepers dealing with essential/permitted items to sincerely follow the COVID 19 appropriate behavior, besides asked them to ensure the universal usage of face mask, maintenance of proper social distancing and ensure the hygiene and sanitation of all the items sold.
DC also interacted with the people and sought their cooperation in the fight against the pandemic and appealed them to avoid venturing unnecessary outside their homes and follow Corona Curfew religiously.
The Deputy Commissioner also passed directions to police and other curfew enforcement teams to monitor the implementation of the Corona curfew, COVID SOPs and other advisories at all business establishments in letter and spirit and take stringent action against the violators.
