KISHTWAR, MAY 29, 2021: To ensure that the availability and accessibility of medicare and isolation facilities in the rural areas is monitored effectively, Deputy commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma today inspected Panchayat Covid Care centre established in the premises of Block Development Office Nagseni, besides chaired an interactive meeting with the PRI members of the block.
He was accompanied by BDC chairperson Nagseni, Mohammad Ashraf Choudhary, DDC member, Faisal Ahmed Choudhary, ADDC Kishtwar Sham Lal, Tehsildar Nagseni Majid Jehangir, BDO Nagseni Abhey Indu Sharma besides Sarpanches and panches of the various Panchayat of Nagseni.
During the inspection at Panchayat Covid Care centre established at BDO office Nagseni, he took stock of the availability of the medical kits, toilet facility and water facility in the centre.
Meanwhile, the DC also held an interactive meeting with the PRI members and solicited their cooperation as shown earlier.
The BDO Nagseni also gave detailed status of the vaccination in the block.
The DC urged the PRIs to motivate the age appropriate persons to get them vaccinated as soon as possible to guard themselves against the infection.
Besides he asked BDO Nagseni to generate Manday in MGNREGA works in order to ensure that the developmental pace is not hampered in the rural area besides asked to ensure the following of the COVID-19 SOPs during the work.
Enroute, he also inspected Tehsil office Nagseni and checked the roster and the attendance of staff.
He directed Tehsildar to ensure punctuality and smooth working of the office for the prompt and transparent deliverance of public services.
