Chandigarh, July 21 – Haryana Home Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that the Haryana Government has decided to conduct a judicial inquiry into the murder of DSP Surender Singh and inquiry will also be held into mining activities in the area.
Sh. Vij was responding to questions by mediapersons here today. Responding to a question regarding judicial inquiry, he said that the Chief Minister has been consulted for this investigation.
He said that he has given full directions to the police that the mining cases should be dealt with strictly.
In response to the question asked in the case of DSP’s murder in Taoru, he said that investigation is going on in this case, besides 700 police personnel have been sent to the site while door-to-door searches are being done so that they can be associated with such cases. Action should be taken against all those who are involved.
In the case of threats to MLAs, Sh. Vij said that STF is working day and night, with central agencies in this regard.
