Certificates and Loan Sanction letters distributed by Deputy Commissioner Patiala to women Self Help Group Members at State Bank of India’s Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) at Village Jassowal

A certificate distribution along with loan sanction letters disbursement program was organized today at State Bank of India’s Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) situated at village Jassowal, Bhadson Road, Patiala. The bio-metric devices along with Certificates for passing the Business Correspondents Training Course was distrusted to as many as 100 SHG members from different villages of Patiala District. The program was organized by PSRLM ,Patiala to commemorate the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ which was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Patiala Sh Kumar Amit, IAS along with Dr Preeti Yadav, ADC (D), Patiala.

Speaking on the occasion Sh Kumar Amit praised the work done by RSETI Patiala in collaboration with PSRLM, Patiala. He said that eradicating unemployment is a gigantic task and Institutes like RSETI Patiala are helping the society to gain self employment.
Dr Preeti Yadav, IUAS ADC (D) Patiala also spoke high on the trainings conducted by RSETI. She said that PSRLM, Patiala is working day and night to provide livelihood to rural poor of the area.
The program was also attended by State Director for RSETIs, Punjab Sh Charanjit Singh who shared his experience of banking with the trainees. He said that there is lack of awareness about various Govt schemes and RSETI Training. He impress upon that the RSETI pattern should reach nook and corner so that more and more rural youth mat get self employment training.
A booklet of Mission ‘Ajeevika’ was also launched by Deputy Commissioner Sh Kumar Amit which contains the activities conducted by PSRLM Patiala during the year 2020-21.
The program was also addressed by Lead District Manager, Patiala Sh P S Anand, Chief Managers from SBI Ms Chanchal and Mrs Gurpreet Kaur were also present. The District Program Manager Mrs Reena and DPM FI Mrs Randeep kaur were also present along with BDPO, Patiala.
