DGP Haryana launches ‘e-Shradhanjali’ facility on HarSamay portal

Chandigarh,  June 17 – The Director General of Police, Haryana Sh. P.K. Agrawal, IPS launched e-Shradhanjali platform on Haryana Police web portal, which facilitates the officers/officials/citizens to pay tribute to the Police Martyrs of Haryana who have sacrificed their lives on the altar of duty, since 1st Nov, 1966, when Haryana came into existence.
While launching this facility, DGP Haryana said that 81 officers/officials of Haryana Police have attained martyrdom till date. ‘e-Shradhanjali’ facility will provide an online platform to everyone for remembering their supreme sacrifice in the line of duty and their contribution in strengthening the internal security across the State.
This facility which has been launched on the official website of Haryana Police features options like Bharat Ke Veer (list of Police Martyrs), User’s Message which is to be displayed on the portal, etc.
The citizens can easily use this facility to pay homage to the Police martyrs by visiting the official website of Haryana Police i.e. www.haryanapolice.gov.in and select ‘E-Shradhanjali’ option, as displayed on the homepage.

     The users can also write messages to pay tribute to the martyrs which will be further displayed on the facility webpage.

      On this occasion, Dr. A S Chawla, IPS, ADGP (Admin & IT) who has supervised the launch of this facility, said that now the citizens would be able to pay tribute to our bravehearts with a single-click using their smart devices like mobile phones, computers, etc.
Others present on this occasion included ADGP (Crime) Sh. O.P. Singh, ADGP (Law & Order) Sh. Sandeep Khirwar, IGP (Law & Order) Sh. Sanjay Kumar, IGP (STF) Sh. B. Satheesh Balan, and DIG (CID) Sh. Shashank Anand.
