LAHDC Councillors, MC Ward Members, Panchayat Members, Health Care Personnel among others to be vaccinated
KARGIL, MAY 07, 2021: On the direction of the Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve, as a part of the ongoing COVID-19 vaccination drive in the district, different categories of beneficiaries including Councillors of the LAHDC, Kargil, Panchayat Members including BDC Chairpersons, Sarpanchs and Panchs, ward members of Municipal Committee (MC) Kargil, teachers of private schools, Nambardars, Chowkidars, persons working at chemist shops, laboratories, dental clinics and diagnostic centers, newly recruited pharmacists, nurses, laboratory technicians, out-sourced workers and Class IV employees working at various Covid Care and quarantine centres, persons working at petrol pumps and oil corporations, employees of JNU and KV, executive members of Baqariya Health Care and Research Center and Al Reza Health Care and Research Foundation Kargil and their ambulance drivers and technicians will be given the vaccine shots at different vaccination centers been set by the District Administration across the district on 8th May and 10th May, 2021 ( Saturday and Monday).
According to the District Immunization Officer (DIO), Kargil Dr Muhammad Abbass, apart from the District Headquarter Kargil, vaccination is being done at all block headquarters as well, and in this regard all the Block Medical Officers (BMOs) have been asked to ensure the vaccination of all the mentioned beneficiaries.
The DIO has further said that it is mandatory for all the beneficiaries taking vaccine to produce their employment ID number and a photo ID at the vaccination centre for necessary registration before vaccination.
