Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) Kargil today held a simple but impressive function to bid an affectionate farewell to its Cameraman Tahir Hussain Akhone who attained superannuation after serving the department for over four decades.

Assistant Director Information Kargil Muhammad Ali Tak, Accounts Officer to Joint Director Information Ladakh Satinder Singh Chauhan, Photo Officer Haji Ahmad Khan besides other officers and officials of DIPR Kargil were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the AD Information Kargil while recalling the dedicated services rendered by the retiring Cameraman to the department hailed his contribution for having served the DIPR Kargil with utmost honesty and sincerity. He on behalf of all staff members wished him a happy, healthy and prosperous post-retirement life.
Tahir Hussain Akhone expressed gratitude to all staff members for organizing the farewell party in his honour.
