These Fairs will be held virtually and physically from September 9: Deputy Commissioner

With the motive to secure jobs to every youth, the District Administration geared up for 7th State Level Mega Job & Self Employment Job Fair which would be organized in Mohali from September 9 to 17 under the flagship program of Punjab Government Ghar Ghar Rozgar Mission in both virtual and physical mode.
Instructing to follow COVID protocols during these fairs, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Girish Dayalan said that Job Fairs would be organized at four different places in the district. He said that first job fair would be held on September 9 at Government College Dera Bassi, second one on September 11 at CGC Landran, while third job fair on September 14 at Reyat Bahra College Kharar and last job fair to be conducted on September 17 at Government College Phase 6, Mohali. The Deputy Commissioner informed that the candidates would be selected on the spot by the renowned companies during these fairs.
On this occasion Deputy CEO of District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises Manjesh Sharma said that globally reputed companies like ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Swaraj, Mahindra & Mahindra, HDFC Life, Pukhraj Health Care, Zomato and Paytm will participate in these events. He said that candidates who have matriculation, senior secondary, graduate or having higher education degree or ITI Trade degree, can participate in these fairs and can get the opportunity to hire by these global companies.
Deputy Director DBEE Meenakshi Goyal appealed to the candidates to participate in the employment fairs by large numbers and apprised that the candidates can register themselves on www.pgrkam.com as job seekers.
