District officers accord warm send off to outgoing DC Kargil
KARGIL FEBRUARY 19, 2021: The district officers of Kargil accorded a warm send off to the outgoing Deputy Commissioner (DC)/ CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Baseer ul Haq Choudhary during a farewell function held at the District Police Lines (DPL), Kargil on Thursday evening.
SSP Kargil Anayat Ali Choudhary, Director Urban Local Bodies Ladakh Dr Zahida Banoo, Additional DC Kargil Tsering Motup, Additional SP Kargil Iftikhar Talib Choudhary besides the district officers of all departments were present on the occasion.
The Additional DC on behalf of all district officers congratulated the DC for successful completion of his tenure. He hailed the outgoing DCs contributions that reflected proper coordination and team work with local LAHDC Kargil as well as the district officers.
The ADC and other speakers on the occasion appreciated the DC for his extreme dedication, sincerity and seriousness while discharging various duties and schemes in the district during his tenure.
The officers said that the developmental works took a new pace in the tenure of Baseer ul Haq Choudhary who played a vital role during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, evacuation of pilgrims and students from West Asia and different states of the country respectively, fight against Corona Virus pandemic, free and fair conduct of recruitments tests, repair and reconstruction of various buildings in the district and other uncountable achievements.
In his emotional speech, the outgoing DC appreciated and thanked all district officers for effective fulfillment of their roles and responsibilities. He urged the officers to move forward with missionary zeal and dedication while providing more attention towards the public especially the needy and the poor.
While sharing his work experiences in the district during his 2 years tenure, the DC appreciated the courtesy, hospitality and welcoming behavior of the Kargilites and stated that he considers himself fortunate to have got the opportunity to serve the frontier district.
