REASI, MAY 29, 2021: In compliance to the mandate of Calendar of the Programmes of Jammu and Kashmir Legal Services Authority for the month of May, 2021 under the Project Access to Justice for J&K (Phase-II) and under the able guidance and supervision of R.N.Wattal, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Reasi , Rekha Kapoor Nischal, Secretary, District Legal Service Authority, Reasi, today organised a Legal Awareness Webinar on the theme “Covid-19 Pandemic- Safeguards and Preventive Measures.”
The virtual event was held in collaboration with Health Department, Reasi.
Dr Gopal Dutt, Block Medical Officer, Katra acted as the Resource Person and deliberated upon how Covid-19 Pandemic is creating disastrous effects globally, what are its safeguards and preventive measures and also what are the benefits of Vaccination.
Panel Advocate, Ajay Salaria acted as a Moderator in the said Webinar.
This On-line programme was attended by the PLVs and Anganwari Workers of District Reasi. The objective of organising this Online programme was to sensitise the participants about the intensity of Covid Virus Infection and the precautionary measures which can be adopted to break the chain of this infection so that the Plvs and Anganwari Workers can further spread this Covid related awareness in the Rural Areas to the maximum possible extent.
An interactive session was also conducted in which PLVs and Anganwari Workers of District Reasi were responded to for their Covid Related Queries from the Resource Person.
