Chandigarh, October 22- After unveiling the statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar set up at Central University of Haryana, Mahendragarh, Union Minister of State, Sh. Kaushal Kishore said that Dr. Ambedkar is not a leader of any one caste or society but a symbol of knowledge. It was he who gave India that constitutional system, through which the country is moving forward on the path of progress. Dr. Ambedkar should be recognized for providing the fundamental right to education in the constitution as well the upliftment of the society.

On this occasion, Shri Kaushal Kishore also administered an oath to build a drug-free Haryana, a drug-free society and a drug-free family. Sh. Kaushal Kishore also inaugurated a new block of Boys’s hostel in the University and also laid the foundation stone of water treatment plant. Former Education Minister of Haryana Prof. Ram Bilas Sharma was present while the programme was presided over by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar
Vice Chancellor, Professor Tankeshwar Kumar in the welcome address, informed about the future plans and various remarkable efforts of the University.
