JAMMU, MAY 12, 2021: Directorate of School Education Jammu held a condolence meeting to condole the sad and tragic demise of the colleagues and staff members, here the other day.
Director School Education Jammu, Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma, chaired the condolence meeting which was attended by all the officers and staff members of the Directorate.
4 staff members, including Joint Director Mr. O.P. Bhagat, Head Assistant DSEJ, Mr. Sham Parshad, Mr. Bal Bahadur and Mr. Sandeep Kumar, both class IV employees, left this world for their final resting place during the past one week. The past one week coming down very hard on the Education Department, saw at least 5 teachers also lose their lives during the same time period.
A two minutes silence was observed to honour the cherished memories of the deceased colleagues. While expressing grief and shock over the tragic demise, Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma and others prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls and forbearance to the bereaved families at this hour of grief.
Expressing solidarity with the families of the deceased, Dr. Ravi Shankar assured that every possible help will be provided to the families of the deceased and passed on appropriate directions to the concerned officers.
