KARGIL MAY 03, 2021: Executive Councilor for Health and Agriculture Muhammad Ali Chandan today convened a meeting to take stock of the ongoing developmental works being undertaken by Public Health Engineering Division in Shargole and Chiktan constituencies.
Councilor Chiktan Constituency Mohsin Ali, Executive Engineer PHE Division Kargil Subhash Chander, Assistant Executive Engineers of Shargole and Chiktan besides concerned officers attended the meeting.
During the course of the meeting, the EC asserted that the schemes undertaken by the concerned department should be operated with precision and people should at large get benefited from the Government schemes.
The officers concerned informed the EC that several projects have been allotted in Shargole and Chiktan constituencies to enhance the distribution of water supply under Jal Jeevan Mission and Capex Budget to provide drinking water facilities to each and every household.
It was decided during the meeting that the Sarpanchs and Panchs of the constituencies along with the Executive Councilor Health and the concerned officials of Public Health Engineering department will visit the two constituencies in next week to take the stock of ground realities pertaining to drinking water supply.
Meanwhile, Councilor Chiktan Mohsin Ali inquired from the officers concerned about the status of works under JJM and District Plan in Chiktan constituency.
