Executive Councilor Works, LAHDC, Kargil Mubarak Shah Naqvi today inspected land feasibility and other aspects for the construction of a cricket ground at Shimsha village.
He was accompanied by AEE R&B Ali Khan, Captain DLS Shimsha Team Feroz Ahmed, Panchs and local representatives of the village. The EC visited the construction site and inspected its feasibility.
EC Naqvi directed the AEE R&B to prepare a detailed DPR of the ground with the provision of all basic facilities for players and spectators at the earliest.
The EC assured locals that the first phase of the work including compound walling, cutting and ground leveling work will be started as soon as possible.
The villagers apprised the EC about dysfunctional solar lift irrigation. While responding to the concerns of the villagers, he assured early redressal of the issue.
