Expresses satisfaction over progress achieved so far, hails executing agency NHIDCL, contracting agency
KARGIL MAY 17, 2021: Executive Councilor for Tourism, Rural Development and Zanskar Affairs Er Phunchok Tashi during his visit to Zanskar Sub Division inspected the ongoing construction works of the Kargil-Zanskar Road NH 301 near Rangdum here on Sunday where the work is presently going on in full swing.
General Manager, National Highways Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) Colonel Ashwani Kumar briefed the EC Zanskar Affairs about the progress of work achieved so far besides the pace of progress on the ongoing construction works.
EC Phunsok Tashi while expressing satisfaction over the status of progress achieved and the pace of the ongoing work hailed the executing agency NHIDCL and the contracting agency expressed optimism that the works will be completed in the stipulated timelines for the benefit of the people of the Zanskar region.
Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Zanskar Sonam Dorjay besides other concerned officers accompnaied the EC Zanskar Affairs from Abran onwards towards Padum during the tour.
