Economist Prof. Shamika Ravi called CM Shri Chouhan

Prof. Shamika Ravi, renowned economist and Director of Brookings Institution Washington’s India Centre, New Delhi, called on Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Mantralaya today. Prof. Shamika Ravi is in Bhopal for a lecture at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis, Bhopal. The Vice Chairman of the Institute was present on the occasion. Prof. Shamika Ravi has also been a member of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council. Welcoming Prof. Shamika Ravi to the capital, CM Shri Chouhan told her about the steps taken in the field of good governance in MP. CM Shri Chouhan told that work has been done continuously to give various services to the general public and to ease the procedures in the administrative system. Due to this, citizens have started getting better facilities. CM Shri Chouhan informed about the damage caused due to excessive rains and floods in some districts of the state and the relief efforts of the state government.
