Chandigarh, February 27- Haryana State Higher Education Council, Chairman, Prof. Brij Kishore Kuthiala said that efforts are being made to introduce ‘Self Learning e-study course module’ soon for the teachers of Higher Education Department in the state.
He was speaking as the Chief Guest at the concluding ceremony of 10-day Pilot Project ‘E-Adhyan Self Learning Courseware for Digital Teaching of TOT in Haryana’, organized by Haryana State Higher Education Council and Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, Palwal.
Expressing satisfaction over the successful operation, evaluation and feedback of the participants, he said a target has been set i.e. to authenticate all the professors of the state by connecting them with this project by December 2021. The Self-Learning e-adhyan course module designed is lecturer-oriented. Prof. Kuthiala said that after this training, professors should train other professors in the state. Teachers who have received training can form their own team and help in improving the module by brain storming.
In the concluding session, Vice Chancellor of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, Palwal, Prof. Raj Nehru said that the project has been started to make the professors aware of the new technologies and the necessary skills needed to operate new techniques. If the participants of the training conduct classes in their colleges with the help of these techniques, then the acceptance of online education among the students will increase. Director of the programme, Dr. Anshu Bhardwaj, Advisor to Haryana State Higher Education Council, Sh. K. K. Agnihotri, Assistant Professor, Sh. Amarendra Kumar Arya, Assistant Professor, Radhika Prajapati, Dean of Sri Vishwakarma University Academic, Sh. Siddharth Sarkar and Training Officer, Dr. Chanchal Bhardwaj also expressed their views on the occasion.
