Efforts to control forest crimes commendable

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the activities conducted in the state for the conservation of forests and wildlife are also favourable for the local residents. Along with tiger conservation, continuous efforts should be made to control forest crimes by continuing similar systematic operation of Cheetah Reintroduction Project and related activities. The 13 accused of the international wildlife smuggling gang have been punished with rigorous imprisonment for seven years and fine by the Special Court Sagar. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan congratulated the Forest Minister and officers of the Forest Department for this.
