Chandigarh, August 14: Taking cognizance against those officers showing negligence while performing their duty to redress the grievances raised by  people, Haryana Home and Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that resolving every grievance is the utmost priority of any officer.  Strict action will be taken against the officers who are found showing laxity in resolving the complaints received by them.

The Home Minister said this while chairing the Janata Darbar organized in Ambala today. The Home Minister directed  the officers concerned to suspend Ambala Patwari, Pawan for  showing negligence  in the work related to the Tehsil. Besides this, he also directed to investigate and lodge FIR against Patwari of Nilokheri Tehsil Pala Ram in an alleged bribery case. 

 The Home Minister gave these directions  while  hearing grievances raised by the complainants  during  the Janata Darbar. He also said that any employee who unnecessarily harasses the common man will not be spared at any cost.

The Home Minister also said that he is a public servant and resolving every single grievance of every citizen is the most important part of his duty. 

During the Janata Darbar, a woman who came from Panipat shared that after the unfortunate death of her husband who was posted in State Police force, she has to run pillar to post to get the salary but every officer has turned a deaf ear to her request, responding to this, the Home Minister assured her that her problem would be resolved at the earliest. 

Similarly, another woman hailing from Indri of Karnal shared that her husband went abroad after marriage but is not coming back now. She said that she had even lodged a complaint with Karnal SP but they have not taken any action yet. Sh. Vij, after sympathetically listening to the complaint, directed SP Karnal to take action regarding the person concerned.

The Home Minister ensured that every complaint would be redressed in Janta Darbar. The complaints received through email are also processed in the same way.   The record along with the action taken report  of every complaint being made to the Municipal council, municipalities and committees should be maintained digitally.
