State’s MSMEs will also participate in the construction of ‘Three-Star Submersible Electric Motors’ to be installed on tubewells in Haryana.

Chandigarh, May 20 – Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala presided over the meeting with concerned officials today where he informed that the State’s MSMEs will also participate in the construction of ‘Three-Star Submersible Electric Motors’ to be installed on tubewells in Haryana.

On this occasion, the Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Sh. DS Dhesi, Additional Chief Secretary to the Power Department, Sh. PK Das, Principal Secretary to the Industries and Commerce Department, Sh. Vijayendra Kumar, Director General, Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, Sh. Saket Kumar, Managing Director, Sh. Shashank Anand and OSD to Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Kamlesh Bhadoo was also present.

The Deputy Chief Minister, who also hold the charge of the Department of Industries and Commerce, directed the officials that the State Government is promoting MSMEs in the state so that more people of the State can get employment. He said that the industries of the State which meet the standards of ‘Bureau of Energy Efficiency’ in the field of manufacturing ‘Three-Star Submersible Electric Motors’, should be given complete opportunity to enter in this market. He said that The State Government wants the farmers to get quality three-star submersible electric motors at a reasonable price, so that the electricity expenditure and maintenance cost is reduced for the farmers which will ultimately enhance their annual savings.

Sh. Dushyant Chautala directed to ensure the electricity connection for the tubewells to the farmers who are waiting for it as soon as possible. He also said that to purchase ‘three-star submersible electric motors, there should be no restriction for the farmers to purchase from a few limited companies, but should be able to purchase from companies that manufacture on the set standards of ‘Bureau of Energy Efficiency’.
