Chandigarh, August 23: Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation has provided financial assistance of Rs 322.27 lakh to 445 beneficiaries during the year 2020-2021 till July 2020, out of which Rs 29.24 lakh was disbursed as subsidy.

Giving information in this regard, Haryana Welfare of Scheduled Castes & Backward Classes Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal said that under the schemes being run in agriculture and other sectors, financial assistance of Rs 143.20 lakh, including a subsidy of Rs 12.91 lakh, has been provided to 254 beneficiaries under the Milk Production (Dairy Farming) Scheme.

He said that under Sheep Rearing, financial assistance of Rs. 2.40 lakhs has been provided to 3 beneficiaries including the subsidy of Rs. 30,000. Similarly, financial assistance of Rs 1.70 lakh has been provided to 3 beneficiaries under pig farming which includes a subsidy of Rs 30,000. He said that the financial assistance of Rs. 2.20 lakh has been provided to 3 beneficiaries under the scheme Jhota Buggi, Camel Cart and Mule Cart, etc. which includes the subsidy of Rs. 30,000.

He said that financial assistance of Rs 7.20 lakh has been provided to 9 beneficiaries in the industrial sector, including the subsidy of Rs 90,000. Similarly, financial assistance of Rs 116.38 lakh has been provided to 157 beneficiaries in the trade and business sector including the subsidy of Rs 14.13 lakh.

He said that under National Scheduled Caste Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC) aided schemes, financial assistance of Rs 41.20 lakh has been provided to 15 beneficiaries under Small Business Scheme which includes the subsidy of Rs 40,000. Similarly, under National Safai Karamcharis Finance & Development Corporation (NSKFDC) aided schemes, financial assistance of Rs 8 lakh has been provided to one beneficiary.
