Haryana Government has invited online nominations for Sardar Patel National Unity Award by August 9, 2021. This award is the highest civilian award given for contribution towards unity and integrity of India.

Chandigarh, July 23- Haryana Government has invited online nominations for Sardar Patel National Unity Award by August 9, 2021. This award is the highest civilian award given for contribution towards unity and integrity of India.

While giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that this award is given for the contribution made in promoting the factors of National Unity and Integrity by strengthening the values of a strong and united India. The award will be announced on October 31, 2021 on the occasion of National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) i.e. the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

He said the award would consist of a medal and a citation. No monetary grant or cash prize will be provided with this award. Any citizen of India shall be eligible for the award without distinction of religion, caste, sex, place of birth, age or occupation and any institution or organization.
